Superintendent's Awards of Excellence 2010

The first annual Superintendent’s Awards of Excellence were handed out on Aug. 25 by Superintendent Carole Olsen.

Recipients are (L-R): Richard Derible, Excellence in Leadership Award; Lisa Sutherland, Excellent Support Staff Award; Superintendent Carole Olsen; Melanie Kennedy, Award of Excellence in Teaching; and Peggy Deschambault (in absentia), Excellence in Leadership Award.

Congratulations to all of the recipients and nominees! Thank you for your outstanding contribution to students in the Halifax Regional School Board and for furthering our vision that every student can learn and every school will improve.
