On November 27, 2013, the Halifax Regional School Board approved a motion to complete a boundary review for Grosvenor-Wentworth Park Elementary School and Park West School.

, a boundary review committee has been formed and includes representation from each of the schools potentially affected. The boundary review may impact the following schools:

The Boundary Review Committee will include a member from each school’s School Advisory Council, who is not an employee of the board.

The Creating School Populations policy requires the boundary review committee to hold a public meeting to present an interim proposal and provide an opportunity for the public to provide input or other possible suggestions.
The boundary review committee will announce the date of a public meeting at a future time and place to present an interim report and to receive input on the boundary proposal.
The boundary review process will be completed in the spring of 2014.
