On November 27, 2013, the Halifax Regional School Board approved a motion to complete a boundary review for Grosvenor-Wentworth Park Elementary School and Park West School.

, a boundary review committee has been formed and includes representation from each of the schools potentially affected. The boundary review may impact the following schools:

On June 2, 2014, the Boundary Review Committee held a public meeting in the Bella Rose Theatre at Halifax West High School to explain the interim boundary proposal and provide an opportunity for public input or other possible suggestions.

The Boundary Review Committee Interim Report recommended the following changes:
Recommendation 1: The Committee proposes the Clayton Park Junior High feeder system be Duc d’Anville Elementary School and Park West School. Fairview Junior High feeder system be Grosvenor Wentworth Park Elementary School, Rockingham Elementary School, Burton Ettinger Elementary School and Fairview Heights Elementary School. The Committee recommends this be implemented for students in September 2015.
Recommendation 2: The Committee recommends a reassignment of students from Larry Uteck Boulevard and Fernleigh Subdivision to Bedford South School with the recommendation that Sunnyside Elementary School becomes the Early French Immersion site for Bedford South; redirect Early French Immersion students from Royal Hemlock Subdivision to Rockingham Elementary School; regular program (English) students to remain at Grosvenor Wentworth Elementary School. The Committee recommends this be implemented for students in September 2015.
