The EXCEL Child Care Program is a division of the Halifax Regional School Board and offers an option to parents in selecting before and after school care for elementary students.
The Program is designed to provide service for students from grade primary to six. Our goal at EXCEL is to create an organized, fun atmosphere for your child and provide you with the sense of security that your child is in good hands. The name EXCEL stands for Extended Care and Enhanced Learning, and we will strive to provide excellent programming for your child.
Note: Schools will be offering free participation in lunch programs to all interested students for the 2009-2010 school year. EXCEL will no longer be responsible for the management of registration for lunch programs. Please contact your individual school to learn what steps are necessary to have your child remain at school during lunch.
